Our renovated, family-run house is situated in Althofen, a short walk from the centre of Mariapfarr.

Located within a 5 minute walk from our house are:
- The centre of Mariapfarr with inns and restaurants.
- Recreational opportunities eg . tennis, horse-back riding, swimming pool, and a bowling alley.
- The town's Pilgrimage Museum
- Entry points to the Lungau bicycle routes
- Entry points to various cross-country skiing tracks
- The bus station for free rides to the ski areas.

In approximately 15 minutes by car you find:
- the St. Michael 18-hole-golf-course.
- The Mauterndorf aerodrome
- The new "Badeinsel" in Tamsweg
- Several horse-back riding schools.
